WOMEN ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

Our future leaders have successfully completed their first year of training in fashion design. We are very pleased that the project beneficiaries are actively seizing the opportunity for a sustainable professional and personal future and are pursuing their training goals with great commitment.

The successful completion of the first year of training represents an important milestone on their path to greater independence, social participation, and professional development.

The founder of LESSAN e.V., Dr. Gwladys Awo, was honored on December 2, 2024, with the prestigious Hammonia Award 2024 by the Landesfrauenrat Hamburg e.V. for her decades of commitment against female genital mutilation/cutting and her dedicated educational work.

ConnectME

ConnectME is a mentoring program by LESSAN e.V. that supports women with a migration background who are affected by gender-based violence. Many of the women who come to us carry difficult experiences. They often live in uncertainty, feel abandoned and face the challenge of reorganizing their everyday lives and their future. ConnectME aims to address exactly this: with time, attention and genuine human support.
