The “Women Economic Empowerment” project is more than an education programme—it is an investment in the future, dignity, and self-determination. It’s not just about funding training placements; it’s about opening up real prospects for girls in Africa. Education means income, independence, and the ability to make your own life choices.
The “CREATIVITY TIME” project was realized with funding from the Postcode Lottery and implemented between March and December 2025. It was aimed at women with refugee and migration backgrounds who have been affected by gender-based violence, complementing existing counseling work with a diverse range of creative activities.
The project "Promoting Mental Health: Nationwide Transcultural Empowerment of Youth and Young Adults in Communities" is funded by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. In this project, community organizers conduct workshops across Germany together with technical experts. The workshops are offered in the fields of art, music, dance, poetry, and mindfulness, providing a supportive environment to help young women and girls affected by female genital mutilation cope with their trauma.
The project "Nationwide Community – Networking for Transcultural Empowerment of FGM/C Survivors", funded by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ), supports affected and at-risk women and girls who wait months for psychological help. Through transcultural art workshops in areas such as music, painting, dance and mindfulness, low-threshold methods for psychological relief are provided.
